DRIVE a 6th Framework EU Marie-Curie Research and Training Network:
“Diamond Research on Interfaces for Versatile Electronics"
Started: November 2004
Welcome to DRIVE
DRIVE is an interdisciplinary initiative within the 6th Framework EU Marie Curie Research and Training Network (RTN). This network is designed to bring together different expertise within diamond and other wide band gap materials. The main purposes with DRIVE are not only to exchange knowledge and experiences, but also to educate future scientific leaders and bring new knowledge into the field. It is thus expected that the activities within DRIVE will result in a deeper and wider understanding about the high-quality growth of diamond-based interfaces, and material properties thereof. This understanding will be used in the development and design of future applications (such as biosensors, radiation detectors etc)
